Our Story
LightUp Experience Experience Experience grew out of a simple desire: to walk closely with children and youth in Northern Thailand and give them safe spaces to grow. What began as small camps and mentoring moments has grown into a network of programs that invest in the next generation and the leaders who walk with them.
We serve children, youth, and local leaders in and around Mae Ai and Mae Chan districts in Northern Thailand. Many come from rural or under-resourced communities. Our heart is to see them known, equipped, and encouraged right where they live.
Through Outdoor Learning Camps, Leadership Development, English Academy, and Community Support, we combine adventure, practical skills, and character formation. We design experiences that are fun and challenging, but also deeply relational and rooted in everyday life.
We don’t do this work alone. LightUp Experience exists because of local leaders, churches, schools, and partners who choose to invest in young people over the long term.
Our Vision
To become a trusted organization in developing Thai youth, especially youth from ethnic minority communities, through education, experiential learning, and leadership development.
We envision a future where every child, regardless of their background, can grow in knowledge, character, and life skills while living in communities filled with hope, compassion, and opportunity.
At the same time, we desire to be a safe and trusted bridge connecting local communities, schools, churches, volunteers, and organizations from around the world through meaningful service and cross-cultural learning experiences.
